About VML Health:

VML HEALTH is a global healthcare agency that partners with healthcare clients across a broad definition of health, from high science to wellness and everything in between. It operates fluidly within the VML agency, as a core group of health specialists (a ‘vertical’) that has the benefit of autonomy in management, but with support of non-health expertise.

At the heart of health is the story of life – all the highs and lows, ambitions, and possibilities. But facing a health challenge can suddenly pull people away from these stories, knocking them off course.

Our purpose is to bridge this gap, bringing people closer to life and all its meaning. We gain a deeper understanding of Healthcare Professionals’ and patients’ needs, behaviors and lived experiences through what we call ‘radical empathy’.

VML Health creates connected brands that get to the heart, bringing people closer to the lives they want to live. Get to the heart. Connect for life.

• Develop medical and scientific content, including publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts) and educational slide decks.

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail, referencing all content from peer-reviewed sources or client-provided data, including highlighting and annotating per client guidelines.

• Provide scientific and strategic insights and direction to clients.

• Quickly learn and understand new disease areas and drug information.

• Present to clients and healthcare practitioners.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high quality.

• Collaborate with medical faculty.

• Independently manage client relationships and fulfill requests.

• Travel to client meetings and conferences.

• Produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Understand publication guidelines and prepare manuscripts accordingly.

Who You Are:

• You are a highly collaborative and strategic individual with a passion for science and medicine.

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong work ethic, and are comfortable working independently.

• You are adaptable, proactive, and approach your work with a positive attitude.

• You include others purposefully and inspire creativity in your work, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.

What You'll Need:

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in health science.

• 1-3 years of experience in medical education/medical affairs or a pharmaceutical role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Willingness to travel

• Candidates will complete a writing test before interviewing.

What We Offer:

• Passionate, driven people: We champion a culture of people who do extraordinary work.
