Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making as they tackle strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational business challenges. Our Marketing consultants lead the strategy development and implementation of business-critical customer experience and marketing engagements for clients. They use industry, market and customer data to provide deep marketing advisory support across channels, evaluating results and adapting the approach to optimize customer experience and business performance.

Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for an Associate Managing Consultant to join our Nordics & Baltics team to lead client engagement that spans the Marketing, as well as the Strategy & Transformation space.
Client Impact
• Lead client engagements across a range of industries and business challenges
• Contribute to and/or lead strategies and programs for large, regional, and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value
• Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner

Team Collaboration & Culture
• Provide marketing expertise and day-to-day project delivery team leadership, support evolution of solutions with innovation and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels
• Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations
• Plan, organize, and structure own work and that of junior project delivery consultants to identify effective analysis structures to address client problems, synthesize analyses into relevant findings, and create impactful storylines
• Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management
• Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and solution development
• Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management across client projects, and mentor junior consultants

Basic qualifications
• Undergraduate degree with 5-10 years of work experience in consulting, corporate strategy, product marketing strategy and/or integrated marketing.
• Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders
• Logical, structured thinking, and affinity for numerical analysis
• Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Swedish.
• Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
• Ability to travel to client sites on a semi-regular basis

Preferred qualifications
• Proficiency in additional Nordic or Baltic languages.
• Experience in event management
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience leading development and implementation of solutions and measuring impact on clients' business
• Experience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firm
• MBA or master’s degree
