Role Description

Form Energy is hiring an Associate Manager (Build & Execution) who will be a critical leader responsible for operationalizing the fabrication build space, ensuring maximum efficiency through 5S implementation and tool maintenance. This role requires deploying and managing technical talent, overseeing the daily tasking of technicians to keep electrical and mechanical assembly on schedule, and acting as the vital link between design and build by identifying and communicating drawing redlines to engineering. Furthermore, the manager will instill and enforce a rigorous safety culture on the shop floor, strictly adhering to all PPE, hot-work, and LOTO protocols.

This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 – Form Energy’s 550,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Weirton, WV, a commutable distance from Pittsburgh. Purpose-built for high-volume, advanced battery production, Form Factory 1 is a hub of fast-moving, collaborative work driving a new era of large-scale American energy manufacturing in the heart of the Rust Belt.

What you'll do:

• Operationalize the build space: Design the layout for maximum efficiency (5S) and ensure all specialized tools are maintained and calibrated.

• Deploy technical talent: Manage the daily tasking of technicians to ensure electrical and mechanical assembly stays on track.

• Streamline the transition from "Design" to "Build" by identifying redlines in drawings and feeding them back to the engineering team.

• Lead the safety culture on the shop floor, ensuring all PPE and hot-work/LOTO protocols are strictly followed.

What you'll bring:

• Prior experience as a Lead Technician or Shop Manager in a custom fabrication or aerospace environment.

• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing principles.

• Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on mentoring technicians with a variety of skillsets.
