About the role
We are looking for an Associate, Human Resource Generalist to join us in Bengaluru to support the delivery of consistent, high-quality people processes across our business. As part of our HR team, you will play an important role in ensuring employees and managers have a reliable first point of contact for day-to-day HR support, while helping our team run core people operations smoothly and accurately.
Our HR team partners closely with teams across EquiLend to support a global organisation operating in the securities finance technology space. This role contributes to delivering a positive and consistent employee experience across regions, ensuring that HR processes are well managed, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
This is a hands-on opportunity with broad exposure across the employee lifecycle, performance management, learning operations, and employee engagement. You will work closely with HR colleagues and business stakeholders globally, helping to maintain effective operations and supporting the continued growth of our teams.
What you'll do
• Support performance management processes, including documentation tracking and timely follow-ups with managers and HR partners
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with internal standards
• Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, internal movements, employee changes, and exits
• Prepare HR documentation such as employment letters and maintain trackers and personnel files
• Ensure HR systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate learning and development activities including scheduling, logistics, attendance tracking, and reporting
• Administer LMS activity including course assignments, records management, and training calendar updates
• Support employee engagement initiatives including rewards and recognition programmes
• Assist with internal communications, participation tracking, and feedback collection
• Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing clear and accurate guidance on policies and processes
• Escalate complex issues appropriately and support resolution through to completion
• Contribute to improving HR processes and administrative efficiency
What we're looking for
• MBA in Human Resources or a related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in HR operations, coordination, or generalist support
• Good understanding of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle
• Experience maintaining HR documentation and employee records with a high level of accuracy
• Exposure to performance management processes and documentation tracking
• Familiarity with learning and development coordination or LMS administration
• Exposure to employee engagement or recognition initiatives is beneficial
• Strong communication skills with the ability to respond clearly and professionally to employee queries
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Good judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information
• Proficiency in MS Excel and confidence working with HR data and trackers
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment
• Exposure to HRIS and LMS platforms is advantageous
• Basic understanding of HR policies and employee relations principles
• Willingness to learn and build capability across a broad range of HR activities
