About the Role

As a member of the Engineering team, the Associate Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the long-term health, stability, and optimization of Appnovation’s diverse digital ecosystem. This role is uniquely focused on Maintenance and Operations, ensuring that our existing production environments—ranging from mobile applications to corporate web platforms—remain performant, secure, and up-to-date.

The IT and Engineering teams at Appnovation provide critical infrastructure and application support to clients and internal stakeholders worldwide. In this role, you will dive into established codebases to resolve complex bugs, manage database integrity, and oversee cloud-based deployments. You will serve as a guardian of system uptime, balancing iterative functional updates with proactive technical debt reduction across React Native, WordPress, Spring Boot, and AWS environments.

What We Are Looking For

•
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve high-priority bugs and performance bottlenecks across the full technology stack.

•
Good to have experience in React Native mobile applications.

•
Oversee the functional integrity of WordPress corporate sites, including theme/plugin maintenance, security patching, and PHP version updates.

•
Maintain and optimize Spring Boot (Java) microservices to ensure reliable API performance and server-side logic.

•
Perform routine maintenance, schema migrations, and query optimization for MySQL and PostgreSQL databases to ensure data consistency.

•
Manage and monitor resources within AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), ensuring deployment pipelines are functional and infrastructure costs are optimized.

•
Implement security patches and updates across all layers of the stack to protect against emerging vulnerabilities.

•
Maintain clear technical documentation for existing systems, troubleshooting guides, and deployment procedures.

•
Partner with senior architects and DevOps teams to transition new features into the maintenance phase and provide feedback on system reliability.

Who You Are

• You possess a methodical approach to root-cause analysis and enjoy the challenge of debugging complex, interconnected systems.

•
You understand that software excellence is achieved through consistent care, optimization, and reliability rather than just "new builds."

•
You are comfortable context-switching between frontend UI tweaks, backend logic, and infrastructure configurations.

•
2+ years of professional experience in Full Stack development or Application Support roles, with demonstrated expertise in:

React Frontend

•
Backend: Java and the Spring Boot framework.

•
Data: Strong proficiency in Relational Databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL).

•
Infra: Foundational knowledge of AWS core services and CI/CD workflows.
