Associate Frontend Software Engineer (m/f/d)

InPost has revolutionised e-commerce parcel delivery in Poland and is now one of Europe’s leading OOH e-commerce enablement platforms. Founded in 1999 by Rafał Brzoska, InPost provides delivery services through our network of almost 60,000 Automated Parcel Machines (APMs) and almost 35,000 pick-up drop-off points (PUDO) in nine countries across Europe, as well as to-door courier and fulfilment services to e-commerce merchants. InPost’s lockers provide consumers with a cheaper and more flexible, convenient, environmentally friendly and contactless delivery option. 

We're looking for someone with 0–2 years of professional or project experience who is ready to grow fast in a real production environment.

We're building a platform — a unified system used organization-wide to manage and serve content for both web and mobile apps across all markets where InPost operates.

Our platform lets content editors create and manage pages through a visual, block-based editor. Under the hood, it's a monorepo with a Next.js + PayloadCMS admin panel and an Astro SSR web renderer, both backed by a shared design system.

We care about craft—semantic HTML, accessibility, and code quality—but we don’t expect you to know everything on day one.

We are looking for potential over perfection. We want someone who brings fresh eyes, creativity, and a hunger to learn. If you are the type of person who asks "why are we doing it this way?" and isn't afraid to propose a creative idea, you will fit right in. We value openness and a fresh perspective just as much as your coding skills.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React and vanilla JS components for both the admin panel and web renderer
• Contribute to the shared design system with fresh ideas
• Implement UI features with accessibility in mind (we will help you learn the details)
• Write clean TypeScript and improve your skills in a professional codebase
• Participate in testing with Playwright and Vitest
• Use AI tools actively to accelerate your learning and workflow
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers
• Bring your creativity to the table — we count on your fresh perspective to challenge our assumptions

Must Have

• Solid foundation in HTML and CSS — you understand the basics of how browsers render pages
• Basic understanding of React — you've built at least one small app or project using it (props, state, simple hooks)
• Willingness to learn TypeScript — you don't need to be an expert, but you must be eager to type your code
• Awareness of web accessibility — you know why it matters and want to learn how to do it right
• A creative mindset — you enjoy solving visual puzzles and improving user interfaces
• Openness and desire to learn — you take feedback well and constantly look for ways to improve
• Hands-on experience with AI tools — you use them regularly to learn or code faster
• Basic Git workflow — you know how to work with branches and pull requests

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or Astro
• Exposure to Playwright or other testing tools
• Interest in UX and design
• Any experience with personal projects where you experimented with new tech
