Excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate Director of Nursing & Clinical Operations to provide support and management oversight to the nurse managers at our two Boston area outpatient clinics. Assist them in resolving daily issues, and be a key participant in several specific project areas. This is an exciting, fast paced practice with a strong mission and commitment to quality care.
The ADN will supervise and be an active mentor to on-site Nurse Managers, Clinical Operations Manager, Prevention and Wellness Coordinator, Medical Prevention & Wellness Patient Navigator, and Complex Care Managers
In conjunction with the nurse managers and Medical Director, coordinate the development and maintenance of clinical support staff schedules and ratios that meet clinic and budgetary goals.
Work as Triage Nurse (20% of time) to maintain understanding of clinical operations and issues as well as patients’ needs.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s of Science Degree in health care administration, public health, and/or management, (Master’s Preferred)
2. Licensed in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse.
3. Recent clinical experience in outpatient medical setting, ideally primary care.
4. At least 5 years experience with managing and supervising staff, program administration, and clinical operations. Prior community health center experience desirable.
5. Experience with Patient Centered Medical Home model and concepts highly preferred.
6. Good communication skills, particularly with staff and patients from diverse cultures whose primary language is not English.
