We are seeking an Associate Director, Trusts to work in our Cayman office. MUFG is providing a wealth of new functionality to its internal and external customers and differentiating the organization in the fund administration industry.
• Ensure that the Trusts are set up legally and are compliant with applicable legislation and regulations 
• Manage all risks related to Trust work that may result in any liability to MUFG and ensure the Trustee's fiduciary responsibilities are adhered to
• Ensure that all regulatory fees are paid on an annual basis and on time
• Ensure trusts are billed in a timely manner and follow up on late invoice settlement
• Assist in annual audits as required and ensure audited financials are filed
• Ensure that all agreements and documents are in order and on file
• Oversight of delegates and service providers
This opportunity requires the successful candidate to attend the Cayman office weekly, so is unsuitable for applicants unable to fulfil this requirement.
• Degree and / or ICSA and / or STEP Qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience within the trust and corporate administration field
• Review and understand all Trust formation documents to ensure the Trust documents are properly interpreted and implemented
• Design and implement controls around appointment of other service providers to each trust and ongoing due diligence and oversight requirements on those providers
• Detailed understanding of trust and corporate structures and related statutory requirements and local legislation
• An understanding of anti-money laundering policies and guidelines
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
