Who are you?

You are an experienced Associate Director who has experience in the Project Management Corporate Occupier sector looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. 

As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for:

• Being part of Turner & Townsend’s corporate occupier fit out team
• Leading Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery
• Providing support on major Project Management commissions, taking responsibility for service delivery
• Establishing the overall success criteria for the project, including resourcing, time, cost, technical and performance parameters
• Leading on compliance for quality, safety, health and environment issues on project commissions
• Leading on establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project
• Leading on Project planning, supporting the development of the detailed project plan
• Leading on advising upon the procurement of resources
• Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
• Leading on the monitoring and applying performance management techniques
• Leading and advising upon project finances
• Leading and advising on Contract Administration processes, claims resolution and disputes
• Directing the flow of project information between the project team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
• Preparing and/or reviewing formal project progress and other reports
• Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• Leading on bids, responsible for business development and running a small team

• A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in real estate or construction projects of increasing complexity.
• Experience delivering corporate occupier projects, retail, industrial, mixed-use or related real property capital projects

• Confident and able to lead projects in own right but, when necessary, to work as part of a senior delivery team 

• Strong interpersonal skills to train and develop teams 

• Robust and methodical analytical skills, adaptable, with experience leading effective teams 

• Experienced in preparing, defining and leading on bid proposals, and work closely alongside other Directors and other Senior Leadership in the business. 

• Professional degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is highly desirable

The base salary range for this full-time role is $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
