As an Associate Developer Relations Manager, you will serve as a vital link between Roblox and our creator community. Reporting to the Lead of Developer Relations in Korea, you will act as a strategic liaison and advocate for Roblox creators, shaping how we communicate and interact with our ecosystem. You will design and execute community events, proactively identifying innovative ways to enhance engagement and foster a thriving developer environment.

You Will:

• Establish and nurture high-touch, 1:1 relationships with top-tier global creators, providing dedicated support in their native language to ensure a seamless experience.

• Act as a direct liaison and advocate for Korean Roblox creators, proactively managing relationships and providing the strategic support necessary for their long-term success on the platform.

• Design and execute immersive community events, from conceptualizing unique event themes to managing on-site logistics and post-event engagement.

• Cultivate vibrant creator ecosystems through strategic community building and intentional relationship development.

• Proactively identify ways to enhance our communication and engagement with Roblox creators.

You Have:

• Leverage your proven track record in partnership and business development to identify and cultivate strategic opportunities that grow our local creator ecosystem.

• Deep understanding of current trends within the media and entertainment landscape, with the ability to translate industry shifts into actionable community strategies.

• Experience working directly with UGC creators to understand their needs, foster partnerships and facilitate their growth within a digital ecosystem.

• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot as needed.

• A creative thinker who can develop innovative communication strategies for diverse audiences.

• Great understanding of Roblox and the Roblox community.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

You Are:

• Fluent in Korean and English.

• BA or BS degree or equivalent.

• Based in Korea or willing to relocate.

• An outgoing and high-energy personality who thrives on building excitement and bringing joy to the community. You have a natural ability to foster a positive, vibrant atmosphere.

• Values teamwork and actively fosters a cooperative environment. Comfortable coordinating cross-functional efforts to achieve shared goals.

• Receptive to feedback and diverse perspectives, willing to pivot strategies to achieve the best outcome.

• Proficient in Roblox Studio or similar game development engines; alternatively, possesses a strong technical aptitude and a relentless drive to master new tools quickly.

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
