This role is responsible for leading end‑to‑end client engagements focused on the design, implementation, and delivery of Commercial Data Warehouse (CDW) and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. The position combines hands‑on technical oversight with strategic client management. It ensures high‑quality delivery of data solutions that support commercial operations, compliance, and analytics needs.
The role also contributes to business growth by identifying expansion opportunities, managing key client relationships, and partnering with global stakeholders. Additionally, this position provides leadership within the team—mentoring junior staff, improving processes, and driving operational excellence across projects.
We'll trust you to::
• Oversees and develops approach and solution components for Data Warehouse projects to ensure methodological soundness; consistently delivers quality client services and drives high-quality deliverables.
• Leads project teams in the design and development of MDM projects, including the design and configuration of the internal MDM platform and creation of MDM-specific deliverables.
• Advises on strategy, team resources, and deadlines, and assumes data investigation and platform configuration tasks as necessary to support the internal team and clients.
• Works with project leadership to define project scope and development approach for each project, including conducting issue analysis and hypothesis development.
• Synthesises findings, develops recommendations, and communicates results to clients and internal teams.
• Assumes project management responsibilities for MDM implementation on each project with minimal supervision, including managing client communication, leading meetings, drafting agendas, managing timelines and serving as a regular point of contact for clients.
• Works independently or with a team to build out data processes.
• Liaisons with multiple internal stakeholders globally, like client engagement, solution specialists and data specialists and manages expectations and deliverables
• Coordinates with diverse teams, including those globally.
• Frequently utilises coding to facilitate data processing and reporting.
• Provides project leadership for team members regarding process improvements, planned approaches for client requests, or transition of new deliverables.
• Monitors progress, manages risk and ensures key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes; manages project finances by maintaining financial summaries, drafts SOWs for new work, and manages client invoices.
• Assists in supporting management, including promoting employee engagement, recruiting, training, and providing ongoing education, employee mentorship and coaching; contributes to internal initiatives aimed at improving team performance and satisfaction.
• Fosters an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
• Coaches and mentors junior team members on their professional development and serves as their Professional Development Manager.
• Grows external client engagements, owning aspects of the relationship between the client and the firm.
• Ensures seamless communication and collaboration with US-based project managers and clients to align project goals and deliverables.
You'll need to have::
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 7 to 9 years of professional experience.
• Proven experience implementing or supporting HCP, HCO, and payer MDM or similar centralised data management solutions in the US pharmaceutical market.
• CDW experience in the US life sciences industry is strongly preferred.
• MDM experience in the life sciences industry is mandatory.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint and Word; advanced Excel skills required.
• Strong coding skills in Python.
• Strong project management and people management skills.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data management best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to work effectively with others and adapt quickly.
• Ability to thrive in an international matrix environment and willingness to support US clients during US working hours with 3-4 hours of overlap.
