Job Description
Business Manager Engineering supports the IT Business Management (ITBM) team towards the effective transformation and running of the organization, focusing on Financial, Risk, Vendor, and Performance Management, supporting and taking ownership of processes in each area. The reporting line will be mapped to the Director, Planning & Control.
Role Responsibilities
Handle relationships with senior team members and work with teams in defining the efficient operating model that supports their requirements.
Support and help improve the MI reporting capability across the team.
Be responsible for a wide range of business processes supporting financial tracking and approvals, data ingestion for management reporting, third party vendor information gathering, Risk Management / Audit, and IT Controls.
Maintain accurate data stores for each IT Business Management (ITBM) pillar, providing timely extracts and analysis as required.
Interpret data to present insights, findings and recommendations.
Support daily operational activities for the Function, SBU or region to drive the Strategic Objectives.
Utilise metrics for collecting, analysing, and reporting effectiveness and makes recommendations for process improvements.
Follow up on post meeting actions, driving strong interlock with collaborators
Produce materials such as board papers, presentations, executive briefs, videos, etc.
Support the planning and logistics for Offsites and other significant function, SBU or division events and activities.
Handle partners in IT Business Management team, Corporate Functions, and members of Corporate Technology.
Preferred Skills And Experience
• Qualification and confirmed experience in relevant field
• Experience in maintaining processes, reports, governance cadence, and data stores
• Power BI experience preferred
• Good understanding of M365 suite and some understanding of Corporate systems (e.g. Oracle, Workday)
• Experience of process ownership and maintaining workflows to a time and quality standard
• Review and improve operational process to meet business demand.
• See tasks through to completion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective Partner across the business (IT Business Management team, Corporate Functions, and members of Corporate Technology)
