About the Role

• Design and build scalable Jira and Confluence solutions, such as for Jira Service Management (JSM), complex project management use cases and more.

• Conduct business analysis sessions with stakeholders to extract functional requirements and translate business "pain points" into technical solution designs that follow Atlassian best practices.

• Develop advanced automation rules and scripts to streamline business processes.

• Execute end-to-end Atlassian Cloud migration and consolidation projects, from assessment and planning phase to execution and post-migration optimisation.

• Assess existing Data Center/Cloud environments, identifying risks, dependencies, and optimisation opportunities.

• Provide ongoing functional support and troubleshooting for clients, acting as a subject matter expert for platform configuration.

• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including migration runbooks and configuration guides for client handovers.

• Develop comprehensive training materials, including user manuals tailored to specific client configurations.

• Deliver training sessions for end-users and site administrators to ensure successful platform adoption and self-sufficiency post-delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as an Atlassian Consultant.

• Expert-level mastery of the Jira and Confluence administration ecosystems, including site-level governance, advanced configurations, and complex feature deployment.

• Proven track record of executing Atlassian Cloud migrations as an independent technical contributor.

• Proficiency with migration tools such as JCMA, CCMA, and manual import methods.

• Experience with Automation for Jira and familiarity with scripting (e.g., ScriptRunner, Python, or REST APIs).

• Ability to work autonomously, moving from initial assessment to final delivery without constant technical supervision.

• Excellent communication skills to facilitate requirement gathering and provide clear guidance to non-technical users.

• Highly proactive learner who stays ahead of the Atlassian Cloud roadmap and rapidly masters emerging features to provide innovative client solutions.

Nice to have

• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications.

• Experience in a consulting environment or a client-facing service role.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes or Agile methodologies.
