Job Description

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Review & Succession Planning

• Lead the annual global/international/local talent review cycle across business and functions; maintain quality talent pools and succession pipelines
• Support HRBPs to conduct BU and function level talent review and succession planning with clear guidance, templates and facilitation support
• Provide insights from talent review & succession planning result to inform talent management and development strategies to close succession gaps
• Build and maintain succession slates: ensure documentation, data integrity, confidentiality, and system updates (e.g., Workday) are completed to standard

Talent Committee

• Architect and execute successor development talent committees to ensure a systematic acceleration approach for senior level position successors
• Lead the execution of talent committees with HRBPs to translate talent review outcomes into individualized, time-bound acceleration plans with clear critical experiences, measurable outcomes, and agreed stakeholder accountabilities.
• Mobilize and influence senior leaders to sponsor development actions (exposure, stretch assignments, talent moves, etc.); identify and remove roadblocks to ensure acceleration plans are executed

Talent Assessment/Development Center Solutions

• Manage talent assessment approaches to support talent decisions and development (e.g., leadership competency frameworks, assessment/development centers, 360 feedback), ensuring fit-for-purpose design and positive participant experience
• Partner closely with global assessment center CoE to seek synergy wherever feasible
• Maintain complete documentation of talent assessment outputs

Leadership Development

• Design and execute targeted learning and talent interventions to address priority capabilities
• Facilitate learning programs and workshops, creating an engaging learning experience and driving application of key concepts into on-the-job behaviors and business outcomes

Broader Talent & Development Portfolio

• Contribute to global and local talent and organization development initiatives such as organizational effectiveness, culture building, development programs, HR system support, data analysis and maintenance, and other tasks and projects based on business needs and manager requests

Vendor & Budget Management

• Select and manage external partners for assessments, coaching, and learning programs; ensure ROI and compliance

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor’s degree or above; proven experience leading talent management and development in complex, multinational organizations
• Strong leadership, influence, and communication skills; strategic thinking with the ability to drive execution excellence and managing multiple priorities
• Talent review & succession planning: proven ability to govern and facilitate talent review/succession discussions, shape success profiles, and convert outcomes into prioritized actions
• Talent assessment & development methodology: working knowledge of competency models, assessment tools (AC/DC, 360, etc.), coaching/mentoring, and development planning
• Advanced facilitation and leadership program design capabilities; data-driven decision-making; stakeholder management across functions
• Digital & AI fluency: leverage approved AI/digital tools to accelerate analysis and improve deliverables, while ensuring data privacy and confidentiality
• Fluency in English and Mandarin; ability to operate effectively in a multinational, matrix environment
• Experience in biopharma is a plus
