Assisted Video Editor (Premiere + AE Presets) - #34970

As a Video Editor you should be comfortable working inside a structured, preset-based workflow. This is a production execution role using preset packs and Al tools not a character animation or motion design position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Founder (Subject Matter Expert) to visualize technical concepts

• Edit educational talking-head and screen-recording videos in Premiere Pro

• Use Al transcription + text-based editing to trim content

• Remove silences and filler words using Al tools

• Apply prebuilt animation presets in After Effects (Mister Horse / SonduckFilm)

• Integrate motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and music

• Use strong timing to turn raw footage into compelling stories with optimal pacing and high audience retention

• Refine rough cuts into polished, publish-ready content by optimizing transitions, color grading, and solving creative challenges

• Apply basic audio leveling and cleanup

• Apply basic color correction using preset LUTs

• Reformat master videos into various aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for multi-platform distribution.

• Export and organize final deliverables

Requirements:
Must-have Skills / Qualification:

• 0-3 years of experience in video editing/post-production (fresh graduates with a strong demo reel are welcome

• Strong Adobe Premiere Pro skills

• Comfortable using After Effects with preset packs (NOT custom animation)

• Familiar with template-based workflows

• Able to implement revisions based on team feedback

• Strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual design

• Good English communication (written and verbal)

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working independently

Advantageous or Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:

• Experience with AI editing tools (Descript, text-based editing in Premiere)

• Experience editing educational or YouTube-style content

• Experience using Mister Horse or SonduckFilm presets

• Familiarity with AI audio cleanup tools

• Basic design skills such as creating thumbnails and light animations
