Assistant Supply Chain Finance Manager
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Reports to: Supply Chain Finance Controller – ESA
We are seeking a highly driven and analytical Assistant Supply Chain Finance Manager to support governance, reporting, and operational finance across our Sourcing Unit and Supply Chain network. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence.
What you will do
• Governance & Control; Conduct monthly Asset Under Construction (AUC) reviews and capitalize completed projects and perform monthly SU balance sheet reconciliations. You will support fixed asset tagging, counts, write‑offs, and reconciliations
• Coordinate stock counts across the Sourcing Unit and 3P warehouses and monitor inventory levels, identify SLOBs, and ensure timely accruals
• Month-End Close & Reporting and manage SU month‑end activities including accruals booking
• Operational Finance, to track and report cost centre performance (People, Utilities, R&M, OPC, Depreciation).
So, what does it take to be successful in the role?
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
• CPA (K) or ACCA certification
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas)
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder‑management skills
• Self‑driven with a strong learning mindset and ability to perform under pressure.
