The Assistant Manager supports the day-to-day operations of multiple service lines, including Electric Line, Fiber Optics, Slickline, Specialty Services, and Well Optimization. This role ensures efficient operations, effective resource coordination, and high-quality service delivery while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
•
Coordinate operational planning and activities within the assigned area and division.
•
Serve as the primary point of contact for business operations and reporting.
• Oversee facility management, including shop inspections, repair of shop equipment and preventative maintenance, etc.
• Assist federal inspectors with conducting external audits of our training, inventory and compliance records.
• Maintain alarm code, key and fob repository for shop, GLF and RA access.

Assign job priorities and manage personnel and equipment.
•
Review and approve tickets, invoices, and equipment or sales purchases.
•
Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
•
Ensure accurate and up-to-date operational records and compliance documentation (e.g., logbooks, hours of service, key control, RA badges, explosives inventory).
•
Enforce company policies and procedures.
•
Coordinate mandatory compliance and on-the-job training.
•
Respond to urgent operational situations and participate in on-call rotation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
• This position requires an individual with the ability to self-manage priorities and communicate effectively with a wide range of customers.
• A strong work ethic demonstrated by a willingness to dig in and get the job done right, a positive attitude for following procedures, asking questions, working collaboratively and highly developed people skills.
• The ability to coordinate varying job requirements with crew and equipment capabilities to prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Be proficient in using Windows 11 based computers as well as Microsoft Office programs.
• Knowledge of Premier logging software preferred.
• Experience with 10k &15K pressure control equipment is preferred.
• RSO and/or ESO training/knowledge is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to manage and supervise people and their associated product line.
• Experience working in a high demand, multiple priorities industry and completing work under tight deadlines.
Education & Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years (with preference for 10 years) in the Oil & Gas Industry. Specific knowledge and ability in the designated division, safe work procedures and industry specific training.
