Camp Fire Alaska Assistant Site Director

We do that by facilitating hands-on, educational activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, structured play and more, all in a safely organized after school program setting. Shift Hours: 4-7 hours/day - depending on your availability
School Age Program (August - May) shifts between Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm
Required site time Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Optional guaranteed continued employment June - July in one of our summer programs (positions/hours/pay varies),
FLSA: Part time, non exempt
Locations available in Anchorage & Eagle River
Supervises: Program Staff
Pay: $20.53 - $23.43/hour DOE

Assistant Site Director: Work between 30-35 hours per week (average) supporting the Senior Site Director in planning, management, and supervision of an assigned site and support the program quality with age-appropriate activities, coaching, and supervision of site staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum age is 21
Professional experience directly related to licensed or accredited school age/camp programs, preferred
Prior leadership experience required
Ability to transport all program materials and supplies to site with ability to visit all sites as needed; required
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Requirements: (can be acquired after hire with agreed upon schedule): Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED & First Aid; Food Worker Card; Mandated Reporter training certificate; Health & Safety certificate.
Currently hold or have the willingness to acquire a minimum of twelve college credits (with at least 3 credit hours specific to early childhood education) in education, youth development or related field.
