Assistant Restaurant Manager

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction

• Supervise and motivate restaurant staff, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to maintain service standards

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations

• Support staff training and development, including onboarding of new team members

• Monitor restaurant inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient use of resources

• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure excellent guest experiences

• Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and banquets

• Coordinate with other departments such as Kitchen, Stewarding, and Purchasing for seamless operations

• Maintain operational documentation including schedules, daily reports, and incident logs

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or upscale restaurant environment

• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and guest relations

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities

• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and peak periods

• Proficiency in English (additional languages are an advantage)

• Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software is a plus
