Overview
Reporting to the Property Manager, this temporary, part-time 6 month contract role supports the ongoing operations of the property during a period of operational transition and variable staffing availability. The role provides supplemental on-site support, particularly for physical and time-sensitive operational tasks, and ensures continuity of service to Residents.
Responsibilities
Ongoing Operations
Support the Resident Manager and Property Manager in maintaining smooth daily operations of the property. Provide on-site coverage during periods of increased operational demand or when additional staffing support is required. Complete the vacuuming of large common areas. Be responsible for garbage removal and disposal. Complete snow shoveling and salting as required. Report building or apartment concerns promptly to the Property Manager. Provide supplemental operational assistance and complete additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager when additional on-site support is required.
Coverage and Availability
Provide short-notice operational coverage as required to ensure continuity of service. Assist with emergency response coverage when scheduled or directed. Work flexible hours, including mornings and occasional evenings or weekends, depending on operational needs.
Requirements
▪A passion for excellence in customer service delivery;
▪Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in customer service and/or property management;
▪Good written and oral communication skills;
▪Strong interpersonal skills;
▪Detail-oriented; able to resolve problems using facts, sound reasoning and common sense;
▪Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner; and
▪Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances.
