What You’ll Do as a Product Technologist    

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

• Support product development by ensuring quality, safety, and compliance in line with Primark’s Quality Assurance standards and EU Cosmetics regulations, with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Assist with testing, labelling, and compliance processes, ensuring products meet legal, safety, and commercial requirements.
• Monitor product performance through returns data, customer feedback, and competitor benchmarking to drive continuous improvement.
• Investigate sample rejections and quality issues, working closely with buying teams and suppliers to resolve them.
• Collaborate with Product Technologists, buying teams, and suppliers to support best practices and technical development.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, identifying risk areas and supporting improvement plans.
• Apply a proactive, analytical mindset to solve quality issues, identify trends, and enhance overall product performance.
