Assistant Manager | Northern Perth Area
We’re on the hunt for our next team of Assistant Managers to help keep our northern suburbs hubs buzzing and loved by the locals.
Across the Northern Perth corridor, our venues are more than just pubs, they are the heart of their communities. From the coastal energy of Tavern at the Rocks in Two Rocks and the heritage charm of the Wanneroo Tavern, to the bustling family atmosphere of the Greenwood Hotel and the premium local feel of The Carine Glades Tavern, we offer a diverse landscape for a hospitality leader to thrive. Joining this team means you aren't just managing a floor, you are joining a network of iconic ALH venues known for high volume bistro service, vibrant sports bars, and unique experiences. We are looking for leaders who can adapt to different local "personalities" while maintaining the gold standard of service that Northern Perth locals expect.
A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:
• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
Inherent requirements:
• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
• You’ve been around the bar and bistro block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Managers Card as per state requirements
