Job Summary:
The role involves managing marketing campaigns for Malayalam (JioHotstar), including marketing and media promotions, including ATL and BTL executions. Also collaborating with the marketing team to create revenue-generating content strategies.
About the team:
The marketing team is responsible for driving viewer engagement and promoting Asianet channel's brand across multiple platforms. The team creates and executes marketing plans, such as campaigns for show launches, brand partnerships, and audience reach. They collaborate closely with the programming, creative communications, and digital marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and maximize reach. With a focus on regional markets and audience preferences, the team creates targeted promotions, media planning with ATL and marketing activation with BTL driving micro-marketing and on-ground activation, and digital strategies that enhance the channel's visibility. Their work assures a strong brand presence and fosters audience loyalty in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities::
• Develop and execute large-scale marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
• Manage complete campaign lifecycle: planning, budgeting, execution, and post-evaluation in collaboration with creative and media agencies.
• Design and implement BTL initiatives including on-ground activations, mall events, and experiential marketing.
• Execute hyperlocal marketing strategies by partnering with local vendors and regional agencies.
• Ensure impactful brand presence at key locations/events through creative brand displays and messaging.
• Plan and execute OTT-specific events such as press launches, celebrity meets, fan interactions, and influencer engagements.
• Liaise with internal teams (content, programming, social media) for seamless 360-degree campaign execution.
• Coordinate with talent management, production, and external vendors for flawless event execution.
• Cultivate strong relationships with media houses, PR agencies, influencers, and industry stakeholders to amplify visibility.
• Integrate offline (ATL/BTL) strategies with digital marketing efforts to drive maximum ROI.
• Maintain strong rapport with other regional channel marketing teams to ensure alignment and synergy.
• Contribute to revenue-generation strategies through content-led marketing campaigns and partnerships.
Skills & Attributes for success::
• Experience managing media relations and marketing campaigns required, Real Magnet experience a plus.
• Exceptional written, oral, proofreading, branding, design oversight, interpersonal and presentation skill set.
• Management, analysis and growth of social and branding campaigns with measured results.
• Ability to build and maintain beneficial media relationships on an organization's behalf.
• Ability to work creatively and with flexibility in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high work standards.
Preferred Education & Experience::
• MBA or Postgraduate with 8-10 years’ work experience in a related role.
