Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager - Category to lead category management initiatives and contribute to the optimization of procurement activities across the organization. This role is vital in developing and executing category strategies, driving cost efficiencies, and fostering supplier relationships to support the company's ambitious vision for growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the development and execution of category strategies aligned with business objectives
• Perform spend analysis and market assessments to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities
• Translate data insights into actionable sourcing strategies and procurement initiatives
• Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and challenge demand where needed
• Support supplier management activities, including performance tracking and relationship management
• Contribute to cost optimization, efficiency improvement, and process standardization initiatives
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Prepare reports and dashboards to track category performance and savings delivery.
Requirements:
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
