Assistant Manager/ Accounts Manager (Construction, QuickBooks)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and overseeing the financial operations in the construction industry.
• Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
• Assist in leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals.
• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
