We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our store located at 2495 Lincoln Highway East Unit 21 in Lancaster. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and staff management
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders as needed
• Handle cash transactions, deposits, and financial reporting accurately
• Implement and maintain merchandising standards to optimize sales and store appearance
• Assist in creating employee schedules and managing time-off requests
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
• Analyze sales data and contribute to strategies for improving store performance
• Step in for the Store Manager in their absence, making key decisions as needed
• Proven experience in retail or customer service, with supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
• Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Proficiency in inventory management and cash handling procedures
• Solid problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency, including experience with POS systems and scheduling software
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of retail operations and store management practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
