We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at our Decatur, United States location (1948 E Eldorado St.). As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving business goals
• Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise
• Create and adjust employee schedules to optimize staffing levels
• Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing new team members
• Monitor and maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and organization
• Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance
• Handle cash management and financial reporting responsibilities
• Proven experience in retail or customer service, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
• Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
• Efficient time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with POS systems and scheduling software
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of retail operations and customer service best practices
• Experience in staff training and development preferred
