Assistant Infant & Toddler Teacher (Full-Time)

💰 $13–$18/hour (based on experience and responsibilities)
Imaginative Beginning- Maumee is seeking a full-time Assistant Infant & Toddler Teacher to support our early childhood classrooms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, wants hands-on experience in childcare, and is open to learning and growing in the field of early childhood education.
Most positions follow a consistent daytime schedule (ex: 8:00am–5:00pm) within our center hours of 5:30am–5:30pm.

👶 Responsibilities
As an Assistant Teacher, you will:
Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities
Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
Assist with lesson activities, transitions, meals, and routines
Supervise children during play and learning activities
Communicate respectfully with families and team members
Help maintain daily classroom documentation
Follow all state licensing and center policies
🎓 Qualifications
Required:
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, AED, Child Abuse Prevention)
Preferred (not required):
Previous childcare or early childhood experience
Interest in early childhood education or child development
Dependable, patient, and team-oriented\
CDA (Child Development Associate)

💪 Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to actively supervise children throughout the day
