Assistant Housekeeping Manager - Laundry & Linen Room
This position is integral to our heart of house operations, maintaining the pristine look of our hotel. Lead the laundry operation across our 519 room property, as part of our wider Housekeeping department.
Salary Range: $58,000 - $62,000 gross annually, based on previous experience and education
Job Duties Include:
• Oversee the Lost and Found program for the Hotel, maintain colleague uniform inventory and par levels
• Effectively and accurately managing payroll of Housekeeping & Linen Rooms Departments within budgeted and forecasted guidelines.
• Complete weekly linen order and responsible for monthly inventories, building relationships with laundry suppliers
• Maintain a motivated and engaging team by actively working on EES action plans
• Ensure the prompt courteous pick-up and delivery of guest laundry
• Assist with daily Manager on Duty operational shifts for the Housekeeping department
• Previous experience in a managerial role, preferable within a laundry or housekeeping environment
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning products an asset    
• Strong organizational and administration skills                              
• Knowledge of the Property Manager System / Opera      
• Excellent problem solver and decision maker
