Job Description
Since 2015, FARM has been providing safe access to cannabis in a discreet and professional environment remaining client-focused and service-minded in a high-volume retail setting. We are seeking an Assistant Front of House Manager for our Hillside location. Our leaders are responsible for supporting the performance, morale, and day-to-day operations of the customer service team, as well as some administrative duties.
Provincial legislation requires all employees to complete their Selling it Right Certification (3-hour course available through Responsible Service BC).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the smooth day-to-day operations of the store.
Support training and development of the customer service team; using standardized operating procedures and FARM management tools.
Inspire a culture of service and learning.
Support the continuous learning for the customer service team using FARM’s Cannabis Education program.
In partnership with the Store Manager and the HR department, drive performance through monitoring, planning, coaching, and appraising team results.
Maintain knowledge of each product within the complete range of new and current products available for purchase in store.
Educate our customers so they feel comfortable with FARM’s range of products and become able to identify products right for them on their own.
Encourage the team to maintain the ideal FARM customer service experience regardless of volume and customer temperament.
Support the Store Manager with ensuring the Point of sale (POS), cash handling, and database system are used efficiently and accurately.
Encourage all team members are following company policies, procedures and best practices.
Maintain positive customer service interactions at all points of customer interaction including email and phone.
Assist in the continuous development of policies and procedures to improve efficiencies and accountabilities.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in defusing difficult situations and handling difficult customers with challenges or barriers.
Experience in high volume, high level of care, retail environment.
Previous retail leadership experience.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent knowledge of POS systems, Word, and Excel.
Highly developed communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Significant cannabis knowledge and passion.
Post-secondary degree an asset
Minimum 19 years of age
BC Selling it Right required
This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate must be available to work a variety of night/weekend shifts when required, including overtime.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $51,000.00 per year
