We are looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support our project team and ensure that all mechanical/electrical and civil construction activities are performed in accordance with the project specifications, plans, and codes to report to the quality and project managers on-site. 
Responsibilities:
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
• Identify and seek resolution of quality issues.
• Supervise inspections and witness testing to verify that works are meeting standards.
• Validate and maintain quality control on the project platform.
• Work with the project team to develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Communicate quality control and site issues to the quality and project managers.
• Assist in the verification of progress claimed by contractors.
• Maintain a daily site diary for progress.
• Participate in client’s safety observation system.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in project management or project control of complex building construction projects, with a preference for those in the Data Centre sector.
• Hands-on experience in project management or a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German. 
• Proactive and focused on continuous improvement, including providing well-thought out solutions.
• A strong motivation to join Turner & Townsend and aspire to build a career in project management.
