Position Summary:
The Assistant Coach for McGill Redbirds Football will assist with day to day coaching and administrative duties assigned by the Head Coach.
Primary Responsibilities:
(i) Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment
(ii) Preparation of game and practice equipment for the team
(iii) Record activities during a game and keeping track of statistics
(iv) Analyses data and identifies trends of game/team/athlete activity/competency during game and post game and prepares reports to head coach
(v) Support coaching staff in the implementation of practice and game plans
(vi) The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
Knowledge or previous practical experience of the sport
May require certification beyond CPR and First Aid
Criminal background check required
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma 3 Years Related Experience
Hourly Salary:
(AMUSE D) $18.92
Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week:
20 (Part time)
