Rightangled Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Bookkeeper to support our growing healthcare organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a structured environment with multiple Group companies, and wants to contribute to the financial health of a fast-paced, mission-driven company - all while working remotely.
Salary Banding - Up to £500 per month
Key Responsibilities
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time
• Perform bank reconciliations for all group companies and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Reconcile Stripe receipts with Shopify sales reports. Ensure all postings in Xero are correct.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
• Should be able to manage and support the overall bookkeeping for all group companies
• Provide ad-hoc financial and administrative support as needed
Requirements:
Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA Affiliate, or part-qualified ACCA
• Hands-on experience with bank recons, accounts payable and receivable processes
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Good understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Good understanding of Xero accounting software is a plus point.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Availability to work UK hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
