Assets Management Specialist

Huawei Canada has an immediate 12-month contract opening for an Assets Management Specialist.

About the job:

• Establishing and enforcing local standards/regulations based to company regulations, distribute and collect assets, regularly count warehouses, clean up assets of resigned employees, and regularly clean up old/obsolete assets and idle/redundant assets to ensure asset security, consistency between accounts and goods, and efficient utilization.

• According to asset management regulations, answer employees' daily asset questions, guide and assist employees to maintain and update asset information and complete the asset management process including annual asset count.

• Assist business departments in completing asset sell-off, scrapping, donation, and compensation processes, as well as managing low-value assets, ensure efficient asset business operations, and ensure process compliance.

• Based on the local business requirements, submit asset purchase requirements to the procurement department, accept and inbound assets/accessories upon arrival, and print, issue, and paste labels to ensure the continuity of asset services.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
