ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our branch’s based in Canberra, NSW, 2600. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:15am – 5:00pm. In this role your key responsibilities would include:

Booking in a range of assets by taking photos, entering descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction system
Assist other team members with their duties when required
Locate, move (sometimes using a forklift), and record the movements of all assets
Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, weekly detail and maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner
Load/unload trucks of assets efficiently to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
Maintain a safe work environment and following all WHS policies and procedures
The role will require travelling and working from multiple locations
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
Current, valid manual driver’s licence (essential)
Current, valid forklift licence (desirable – successful candidate must be willing to obtain)
Sound ability to use an iPad
A strong commitment to safety
Good attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
