Job Summary
The Plate Line Technician position at Jim Myers & Sons, Inc. (JMS) is a vital member of the Operations Team, responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of our Plate Line equipment. This individual plays a key role in maintaining production flow and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Include

Operating Plate Line Machines (Spot-welder, straightener, punch)

Basic operation of folder

Claiming operation in computer system with quantities

Performing tasks in a safe and efficient manner

Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors

Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

Safety conscious

Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly

Ability to arrive to work on time (5:00 am – 3:30 pm, M-Th, OT as required)

Desire to learn and to continue developing knowledge and skills

Capable of driving a forklift

Ability to be flexible in work assignments

Dependable with a strong attendance record

Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist others as needed

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Able to take direction from supervisors and team members and apply it effectively

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent
