Location: Piedmont, SC
Hours:
8am – 4:30pm
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Overtime including weekends as needed
PAY RATE: $15.00/hr

Job Summary
As a Mechanical Assembler with PPG Quality, you’ll be hands-on in creating essential respiratory safety products. From ventilation blowers to ambient air pumps and breathing air panels, you’ll transform components into life-saving equipment that supports workers across industries.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble ventilation blowers, ambient air pumps, air filtration panels, supplied air respirators, and other respiratory products from parts and sub-assemblies
Test products to ensure performance and compliance with specifications
Package finished goods for shipment
Monitor inventory shortages and report to supervisor
Maintain a safe, organized workspace and handle equipment responsibly
Support team needs with flexibility, including overtime
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to follow detailed drawings, written instructions, and verbal guidance
Skilled with hand tools (manual, pneumatic, and electrical), calibration devices, and air gauges
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Solid math skills with whole numbers
Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted - consistently
