Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. is currently seeking two (2) Asphalt Terminal Loaders to join our team at our Doraville Asphalt Terminal. This is a full-time position reporting to Terminal Management.
Day, night, and weekend availability is required, and candidates must be open to working overtime based on operational needs.

Position Summary:
The Asphalt Terminal Loader is responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of liquid asphalt cement and related materials between railcars, trucks, and storage tanks. This role ensures product quality through proper handling, blending operations, equipment monitoring, and routine maintenance to support continuous terminal operations.
Essential functions:
Safely load and unload liquid asphalt cement, polymers, and related materials from railcars and commercial trucks.
Operate and monitor pumps, blending tanks, industrial scales, and terminal control systems.
Manage pipeline and valve configurations to ensure proper product flow and prevent cross-contamination.
Perform terminal blending operations according to established specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and perform basic preventative maintenance on terminal equipment.
Generate accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs) using computerized systems.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe terminal environment through regular housekeeping.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding safety and operational needs.
Adhere to all safety rules and perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Training, and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is desired but not required.
Prior experience in industrial labor, construction, manufacturing, or terminal operations is preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime.
Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Ability to climb ladders, catwalks, railcars, and storage tanks.
Ability to lift and maneuver 50+ pounds as required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving and mechanical parts and equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
Work environment may include exposure to loud noise, fumes, and industrial equipment.
The environment can be noisy at times.
Requires manual dexterity and strength in arms and feet to manipulate the equipment controls, tools, and other items used to make adjustments and/or minor maintenance.

Other Requirements:
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times. Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Safety Manual. Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA and company policy. Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position: Coveralls, Fall Protection, Gloves, Welding Gloves, Hard Hat, Hearing Protection, Padlocks for Lockout/Tagout, Respiratory Protection, Safety Glasses, Safety (hard toe) Shoes, Welding Aprons, Welding Helmet, Welding Shield.
