Summary:
Manage scheduling, coordination, and quality assurance for all Bonness Inc. projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Drive project profitability and customer satisfaction through effective planning, execution, and follow-through, including pre- and post-project inspections and thorough job site preparation. Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring crew compliance, facilitate ongoing training to maintain and enhance workforce proficiency, and leverage emerging technologies to keep teams skilled and operations current.
Essential Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead Foremen to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to specification.
Plan and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient job execution and readiness.
Conduct pre-project planning and inspections; monitor progress and perform final quality checks.
Drive crew performance through leadership, training, and accountability, including proper equipment use and best practices.
Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
Manage job costs by reviewing budgets, tracking production, and ensuring accurate timekeeping and cost coding.
Review job cost reports regularly, address issues, and identify change orders proactively.
Ensure Foremen are prepared with clear scope, plans, and expectations prior to job start.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of project updates, changes, and communications.
Build strong customer relationships and resolve scheduling or quality concerns promptly.
Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and maintain confidentiality of company information.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
5-10 years of experience in road construction or related field
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
Valid Driver's License and a minimum of three years of driving experience with a clean driving history preferred
