Your Impact

As an Asphalt Roller Operator in our In-Town Paving Division, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects throughout the Flathead Valley. Your expertise in achieving perfect compaction and smoothness will directly contribute to the durability and quality of Montana's roads and surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Master the art of roller operation with precise overlapping passes to achieve optimal compaction

Apply your knowledge of material behavior and temperature effects to determine ideal operating parameters

Conduct equipment inspections to ensure peak performance and safety

Navigate safely in live traffic environments

Operate additional equipment as projects require

Travel to job sites across Montana

What You Bring

2+ years of operating experience (roller operation experience preferred)

Sharp attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities

Excellence in both team collaboration and independent work

Clear communication skills, both verbal and written

Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking

Commitment to safety and professional ethics

Flexibility for various shifts and overtime when needed

Physical Requirements

Lift and carry 25-50 lbs. regularly.

Perform repetitive movements like bending, kneeling, squatting, and twisting.

Sit or stand for long periods and navigate uneven terrain.

Work outdoors in all types of weather and noisy environments.
