We need an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to oversee our Paving operations throughout Ohio. The foreman will manage on-site daily operations, coordinate crew activities, maintain equipment, and communicate with project managers or superintendents to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily activities for the main asphalt paving crew.
Coordinate crew activities
Responsible for equipment maintenance on-site
Communicate with project managers or superintendents to ensure project success.
Drive and operate trucks and equipment.
Develop and maintain positive relations with internal and external customers.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
Support personnel during the construction of the work.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of experience working in concrete construction, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven ability to read blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
In-depth knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and tools.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best construction practices.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and CDL preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, tools, and equipment (up to 50 lbs. or more).
Ability to work in various weather conditions
