As an Asphalt Foreman you will be in charge of working with many individuals on the crew to help them grow into successful employees in the paving industry.
Requirements:
Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North Dakota South Dakota, Montana and Iowa
Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites
Valid Driver’s License, preferably Class A
Acceptable motor vehicle record
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Ability to supervise and maintain positivity and productivity within the team.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of safety and DOT guidelines that will ensure safety and quality.
Communicate with truck dispatch, Lowboy division and equipment needed for the job.
Coordinate between other crews or sub-contractors on jobs.
Daily submission of digital timecards and production reports as needed for accounting teams.
Ability to manage all aspects of jobs from ordering materials to maintenance to service calls from outside vendors.
Follow and read DOT plans for jobs (slope, grade change, drainage ect..)
Ensure jobs are running productively as possible or work on plans to do so.
Ability to operate all equipment as needed.
Conducts toolbox talk safety meetings
Investigates and reports accidents and injuries according to Company policy
Complies with Company Safety Program
Performs other tasks as needed
