Job Description

Position Summary
RA Holdings Group is seeking a skilled Asbestos & Lead Laborer to join its team in Hampton Roads, VA. The laborer will perform abatement work on military, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. This role involves hands-on removal, containment, and disposal of asbestos- and lead-containing materials. Requires a Virginia Asbestos and/or Lead License (DPOR).

Key Responsibilities

Set up work areas, including containment, negative air systems, and warning signage

Remove, bag, and dispose of asbestos and lead-containing materials safely and efficiently

Perform decontamination and cleanup of work areas, tools, and equipment

Follow strict safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and respirators

Maintain compliance with EPA, OSHA, and DPOR regulations

Document project activities and report progress to supervisors

Inspect work areas for hazards and ensure a safe job site

Travel to different project sites around Hampton Roads, VA.

Qualifications

Requirements: Up-to-date physical exam signed by a physician, REAL ID, ability to pass a fit test, and a clean background or ability to meet the qualifications needed to get military badges.

Certifications: Virginia Asbestos and/or Lead License (DPOR) required; certification or diploma must be from a licensed training school.

Travel: Ability to travel to job sites in Hampton Roads as needed.
