Overview
We are seeking a skilled AS400 / Silverlake Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in AS400 development and a solid understanding of Silverlake banking systems (SIBS / SICS / Payments). You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining core banking applications, ensuring high system availability, stability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform using RPG/RPGLE, CL, SQL, and DB2.
• Perform AS400 system administration tasks including job monitoring, error handling, performance tuning, and deployment.
• Work on Silverlake modules such as SIBS, SICS, or Payment Systems (SWIFT, PayNow, GIRO, FAST).
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
• Support system upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Contribute to optimization and modernization initiatives for legacy systems.
Technical Skills Required
• Strong hands-on development experience in:
• AS400 / IBM iSeries
• RPG, RPGLE, CL, SQL
• OS400, DB2
• Experience with Silverlake Integrated Banking System (SIBS) or Silverlake Integrated Card System (SICS).
• Familiarity with banking payment systems such as:
• SWIFT, PayNow, FAST, GIRO, or other transaction modules.
• Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC, unit testing, and debugging.
• Experience with system interfaces, APIs, and integration within the core banking ecosystem.
