The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00

As Lead Consultant, Community and Stakeholder Engagement Data and Reporting you will: Lead data analytics and reporting for the Community and Stakeholder Engagement team, including key reporting for priority community programs, and financial oversight for our global philanthropy budgets.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead department financial management routines including; budget planning and management, facilitating tradeoff decisions with CSE leadership team and owning team relationships with Finance, Tax and Accounting partners.
• Oversee the internal and external data and reporting capability for philanthropy and volunteerism including benchmarking, ensuring controls and rigor are in place for timely and accurate reporting, including data quality, auditing routines.
• Partner with marketing and communication functions as we translate our data into compelling stories of impact.
• Create team prioritization and resource balancing processes for data and reporting deliverables.
• Work with vendors and internal partners to optimize data management processes and tools for philanthropy and volunteerism reporting data for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Advise grant making and volunteerism teams on strategies for collecting and reporting on key program data to analyze for internal insights or utilize for impact reporting.
• Translating complex requests and data sets into easily understood insights to help inform business decisions.
• Other key responsibilities as assigned.
About You:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, MBA or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience working in the private or public sector on efforts specifically around driving operational excellence through robust processes, routines and risk mitigation.
• Strong understanding of accounting, tax, and financial management principles.
• Strong knowledge of data and reporting tools and data management best practices.
• Strong knowledge of strategies for impacting social and environmental issues, social impact data and metrics and landscape of non-profit organizations.
• Comfort with complex deliverables and risk mitigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfort with engaging senior leaders and stakeholders with confidence and proven credibility.
• Proven problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and out-side of the box thinking skills – connecting dots and translating ideas into action.
• Successful experience in identifying, cultivating, and growing partnerships with internal and external partners.
• Strong analytical, organizational, planning experience and ability to work independently, including the ability to multi-task and manage demands and/or projects simultaneously.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
