RESPONSABILITÉS

•
Bon sens de la composition visuelle d’un niveau.

•
Collaborer avec les autres départements pour s'assurer de la faisabilité et de la qualité des éléments artistiques.

•
Créer un éclairage de haute qualité, tout en respectant les contraintes du projet.

•
Connaissance de la théorie des couleurs.

•
Être en mesure de transmettre les émotions à travers l’éclairage.

•
Travailler avec l’équipe de design et d’artistes de niveau pour s'assurer que les niveaux supportent les objectifs de jouabilité ainsi que l’histoire qui y est racontée.

•
Atteindre les cibles de style et de qualité établies par le Directeur artistique.

•
Collaborer étroitement avec le Directeur artistique technique et l'équipe artistique pour comprendre et, au besoin, établir des processus de production qui tiennent compte des contraintes techniques du jeu.

PROFIL DU CANDIDAT

•
5 ans ou plus d’expérience à titre d'Artiste d’Éclairage dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo.

•
Avoir livré au moins 2 titres multiplateformes.

•
Connaissances approfondies des techniques et des processus de création d’un jeu vidéo.

•
Connaissances approfondies de Unreal Engine 5.

•
Enthousiaste, positif et attitude axée sur l’esprit d’équipe.

•
Bilingue français/anglais

Gearbox —award-winning, independent developer of interactive entertainment hits Borderlands, Brothers in Arms and Battleborn—is looking for a Senior Lighting Artist to join our team in Quebec.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•
Good sense of visual composition of a level.

•
Collaborate with other departments to ensure feasibility and quality of art elements.

•
Create high quality lighting while respecting the constraints of the project.

•
Knowledge on the color theory.

•
Be ale to transmit emotions through the lighting.

•
Work with the design team and level artists to ensure that the levels support the gameplay objectives as well as the story that is told.

•
Meet style and quality targets set by the Art Director.

•
Work closely with the Technical Art Director and the art team to understand and, if necessary, establish production processes that consider the technical constraints of the game.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

•
5+ years of experience as a Lighting Artist in the video game industry.

•
Shipped at least 2 multiplatform titles.

•
In-depth knowledge of the techniques and processes involved in creating a video game.

•
In-depth knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.

•
Enthusiastic, positive and team-oriented attitude.

•
Bilingual French/English
