Job Description
Can you turn bold ideas into visuals that feel almost inevitable and still surprise everyone in the room?
At Grip, creative excellence isn’t decoration. It’s the engine behind scalable content automation for global brands. As our Art Director, you’ll define and evolve the creative vision across client work, pitches, and internal IP. You’ll set the bar for what “great” looks like — and then raise it.
You’ll translate strategy, research, and cultural insight into strong creative directions that work not just once, but at scale. Working closely with production, project management, and operations, you’ll balance ambition with feasibility — protecting quality, timelines, and budgets while pushing the work further than anyone thought possible.
What’s Grip?
As INDG's software branch, Grip is an end-to-end content automation platform that generates infinite ad variations by combining CGI, rule-based generative AI, and post-production into an easy-to-use automated content generation platform that transforms master ad creatives into endless variations - empowering brands to scale content production globally without compromising on quality or brand consistency.
Grip works by taking master content supplied by brands or their agencies and converting it into a deeply modular configurator. This allows marketers to create their own visual adaptations and variations effortlessly, saving millions in production costs while maintaining brand consistency.
What you’ll do
• Define, own and continuously evolve the creative vision across client projects, pitches, and internal initiatives, ensuring every output reflects originality, cultural relevance, and high craft.
• Set the creative bar for visual excellence and ensure all deliverables — from treatments to decks to final assets — are on-brief, on-brand and on point.
• Translate research, strategy and cultural insights into clear creative directions and concepts that teams can execute confidently and consistently.
• Provide decisive, constructive creative direction and feedback throughout the process, guiding revisions and iterations while safeguarding timelines and budgets.
• Act as the creative counterpart to brand, marketing and innovation leads on the client side, building trust through clarity, taste and strong decision-making.
• Assess briefs to define the right level of creative input and production approach, aligning ambition with feasibility in close collaboration with production and operations.
• Ensure priorities, expectations and deadlines are clear and upheld, maintaining brand continuity and quality standards across all outputs.
