As an Art Director - Customization on Rainbow Six Siege at Ubisoft Montréal, you will define and drive the artistic vision for all customization content. Working closely with the team, you will ensure the game’s visual identity stays aligned with its global vision. As Art Director, Customization, you will also foster strong cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality, cohesive content on schedule.

What you’ll do

• Define and maintain the artistic vision for customization content aligned with the overall game direction.
• Create and maintain art direction documentation for current and future customization initiatives.
• Collaborate with art, events, esports, marketing, UI, and monetization teams to ideate skins and new features.
• Lead the customization art team, prioritizing project, esports, and community-driven initiatives.
• Provide clear art direction, feedback, and approvals throughout the production pipeline.
• Oversee internal and external art teams to ensure artistic and technical quality.
• Partner with art team leads to support growth paths and professional development plans.
• Represent the studio in external meetings, presenting briefs and creative proposals.

• Strong leadership in AAA game art direction with a focus on customization content.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing character, weapon, and asset design.
• Solid command of design principles, color theory, and art direction pipelines.
• Deep understanding of technical constraints related to modeling, texturing, and rigging.
• Proficiency with production tools such as Jira, Miro, and Excel, including outsourcing workflows.
• Proven ability in mentorship and cross-team collaboration.
• Clear communication and presentation skills to convey vision and actionable feedback.
• Experience collaborating with marketing, esports, and monetization teams to build cohesive visual identities.
