Job Description

The consultant will help our national security functional experts navigate a complex and changing business landscape. Our consultants solve our client’s complex issues by learning the intricacies of the problem set at hand, the client’s objectives, and the operational environment in which results must be implemented to create holistic solutions with high impact. The consultant will work on a multi-disciplinary team that has direct partnerships with end-users within the command and stakeholders within the Army, focused on modernization and divestiture from legacy systems and into current ERPs, such as GFEBS-SA. This is a fast-changing role that evolves based on the client’s need, while prioritizing process improvements within the command/Army and actively supporting operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and provide guidance to the Command on modernization initiatives

• Support operational and business process enhancements for the organization including system sustainment, analysis and architecting business processes

• Independently facilitate workshops, meetings and training

• Participate in business case development by identifying various courses of action and the impacts of alternative solutions

• In support of larger client projects and initiatives provide recommendations to client leadership and other cross-organizational management

• Validate of current business processes used to deliver capabilities

Required Skills and Experience

• Ability to be on-site at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; a hybrid schedule currently exists, but is not guaranteed

• Active Top Secret security clearance is required

• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organization skills

• Enthusiasm for collaboration within a cross-functional team in a rapidly changing mission-oriented work environment

• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience using GFEBS or GFEBS-SA

• Customer-serving personality and support for the mission

Desired Skills & Experience

• Use of modernized Microsoft applications (e.g. PowerBi, PowerApps, etc.)

• Knowledge of the Army financial systems and processes strongly preferred
