For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in our new entity in Singapore a dynamic and motivated Area Sales Manager.
Main tasks
• Maintain excellent knowledge of products and systems.
• Seek out new opportunities in DC & AC traction & power systems, existing and new
• customers in rail & mining businesses: transit, urban transport authorities (railways,
• metro, tramway etc.) and mine industry, on international markets.
• Develop support activities for Sécheron Singapore PTE Ltd with a focus on DC
• traction power systems and services for metro networks; leverage Sécheron’s 140
• years of expertise in DC traction power worldwide. Promote Sécheron’s
• technologies, products, and systems across Southeast Asia to transit authorities,
• engineering firms, and installation contractors.
• Prepare and promote service offerings to enhance the DC power experience of
• operators already using Sécheron products in Southeast Asia.
• Promotion, Bid Preparation, Tendering and Acquisition actions according to the
• strategy, budget, action plan and special instructions established by the Head of
• Sales & Marketing and/or requested by Clients and Partners on the market.
• Analyze technical specifications for electrification projects and prepare technical and
• commercial proposals for traction and power systems. Work closely with the
• Sécheron design office and technical team to prepare quotations, including pricing,
• compliance matrices, and offer reviews.
• Present and negotiate proposals with customers and potential partners.
• Lead the development of technical and commercial offers through to contract
• signature.
• Manage existing customer relationships to maintain and grow current business.
• Meet, or exceed annual budgeted sales goals.
• Contract review with the project manager and participation to the KOM with the
• client. Involvement on commercial topic during project execution.
• Coordinate small projects or service contracts, including technical clarifications with
• the technical team, scheduling, and organizing site support (installation, testing &
• commissioning, start-up, and training).
Requirements:
• Technical degree in electrical engineering or similar.
• Business travel: 20-30% / Up to 2 weeks per trip.
• Working during engineering hours if necessary.
• Flexibility on working hours to attend remote meetings with Europe when needed.
• Railway experience is a plus.
